The concept of the cafe "MONTEROSSO" emerged after our trip to Montenegro in 2003. It is a continuation of the project that was exhibited at the 4th INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL in Cetinje in 2002. Our studio was responsible for the entire visual aspect - interior design, furniture, branding, advertising, signage, menu, posters, brochures.

We aimed to create a sense of hot sun, sea breeze, and the aroma of rosemary in the snowy north of Moscow. The orange walls and lower perimeter lighting give a light and optimistic feel to the space. The entire interior is filled with art, with photographs from the project "FLYING PEOPLE" by Tatiana Antoshina displayed on the walls. The filling light of orange hues creates an atmosphere of the southern coast. Platforms with tables made of rusty iron resemble mountain relief. The custom-made furniture features natural forms and author's tabletops from the MONTEROSSO photo project. Fluorescent lights form decorative panels. The interior style is concise and modern.
