PORTFOLIO INTERIOR DESIGN
BIRCH Snack Bar
Our task was to create an interior that is simple, fresh in style, and original, and we successfully achieved this in a traditional theme. Russian folk culture is rich and diverse, ranging from lubok pictures, Gorodets painting, Dymkovo toys, Skopin and Palekh, to the Russian avant-garde of the early 20th century.
Malachite and marble, lubok and Gorodets painting, painted wood under lacquer, blue and green with gold, the Alkonost bird of happiness with flowers in its hands, a juvenile night sky on the ceiling, plaster rosettes - halos of star-shaped bulbs. Columns covered with mirrors and adorned with painted moldings. The restroom is like a precious jewel box: the walls are decorated with mirrors and wallpaper with a malachite pattern. Under the marble, we decorated lightboxes and the showcase in the bar.
Area: 164 sq.m.
At first glance, the space seems simple and light, but many people worked on it - carpenters, artists, decorators, our friends and colleagues from related professions. The monumental sculpture of the Alkonost was created by Yuri Khorovsky, Prokhor Mashukov prepared a wall composition from lubok, Vera Sedacheva painted the Russian stove and children's house, Roman Mashukov worked on the bar, large refrigerator, and furniture items... Based on our sketches, the master matryoshka makers made beautiful curtains for us from colorful wooden balls, and torchieres in the same style, they also painted a flower stand in the same style...
